Bovet Recital 22 Grand Recital Wins Aiguille d'Or at GPHG 2018
The Aiguille d’Or, or best-in-show, at this year’s Grand Prix D’Horologerie de Geneve, the watch industry’s biggest awards show of the season, went to the Bovet Recital 22 Grand Recital. It’s an all around freak of a watch with a tellurium in the center, which tells the position of the Earth with respect to the moon and sun. It’s also got a one-minute rotating tourbillon (which plays the sun in relation to the Earth in the case, world time (because of the tellurium), and a 9-day power reserve. It’s got a retail MSRP of nearly $500,000.
