Into the brave (newsletter-only) future
A quick announcement. Rescapement.com will be sunset by the end of October 2022. I’ve had this Squarespace website and domain for four years now, and given updates in my career (more to come on this soon!), it’s no longer needed.
But fear not. “Rescapement” will still exist (if not in name, in spirit). I’ll host my newsletter only on Substack, the platform that I’ve long used to send out our weekly emails. In addition to my coming career change, Substack has also improved its product tremendously — things like SEO, discovery, etc. have gotten exponentially better since I started using Substack a few years ago. There’s no reason for me to maintain a Squarespace and a Substack site anymore — the time and monetary costs are just too high.
Tl;dr: A newsletter will still exist, but find us at rescapement.substack.com and subscribe there to make sure you don’t miss anything.
I’m going to work on migrating the old archives from Squarespace to Substack so that all our old articles and content will still have a home on the internet.
