To commemorate Ralph Lauren’s 50th birthday as a brand, Ralph Lauren has introduced a limited line of mechanical watches, with the iconic Polo Bear sitting at the center of the dial.
There are four models, featuring, respectively: Spectator Bear, Preppy Bear, Martini Bear, and Flag Bear. Lest you think these are simple fashion watches, Ralph Lauren says they come with a Swiss mechanical movement inside. Seeing as Ralph Lauren Watches and Fine Jewelery is actually a joint venture of Ralph Lauren and luxury conglomerate Richemont, it’s no surprise that these are serious timepieces. The straps range from beautiful leathers to silky straps meant to recall Lauren’s first product, a neck tie.
